WINE PHILOSOPHY: Highlands Winery, the parent company of Tangovino, believes that quality winemaking begins in the vineyard. We focus on small lot production using inspired and uncompromising winemaking techniques that express the finest fruit and terroir of each vintage.

TASTING NOTES: Visually a deep, opaque ruby red.

The nose presents a rich bouquet with brown spices including nutmeg and clove,

cedar and forest floor.

The mouth is very integrated with good evolution and an impressive texture

throughout. Though not at all sweet, there is an impression of sweetness due to the integration of tannins, oak, and the dark berry fruit flavors. Dried cherry, brown spices and full-bodied.

The wine is mature and ready to drink now. It presents as more evolved than a

typical 5-year old wine, showing a state of evolution expected from a wine 5 years

older [2015].

A suggest pairing would be an accompaniment for a creamy French cheese such as Pont L-Eveque or St. Andre. But this is where your partnership comes in. Enjoy pairing this wine with some of your favorite foods.

Aged in French Oak Barrels for 22 months. 141 Cases. Alcohol – 14.2%
